I am responding to a recent post about me by Tina Swithin of ‘One Moms Battle’. She reports that I was providing testimony last week and got served with a complaint in the Courthouse. This is true; it was another frivolous complaint by a parent who had lost her case in Court.
The rest of what Swithin wrote is egregiously false, and I believe that you deserve the truth.
Turning Points for Families is Safe and Effective
Turning Points for Families is a Court-ordered program that is relied upon by the Court after the judge has made a finding of child abuse. The program safely remedies the child abuse and restores healthy family relationships.
It is very common for alienating parents to make false complaints about me and about other professionals who intervene to protect children–just as they make egregiously erroneous and defamatory complaints about the other parent.

Tina Swithin erroneously claims that the family I was testifying about was “devastated” by participating in Turning Points for Families. This family HAD NOT participated in Turning Points for Families.

The Frivolous Complaint For Which I Was Served
The complaint was brought by Robbins, who had lost her case in Court, and Robbins blames everyone but herself. The complaint, which is not her first against me, is nothing more than a desperate attempt at a “second bite of the apple.”
Robbins had initially filed this complaint in the Southern Federal District Court of California. She alleged conspiracy among the children’s lawyer, the father’s lawyer, the father, Robbin’s therapist, the family therapist, Turning Points for Families, and me.
Robbins’ complaint was dismissed. The judge wrote, The clerk of Court shall CLOSE this case. No further filings will be accepted in this case.”

ProPublica Article
Swithin distorts my comments about children lying and takes my meaning entirely out of context.
I said in the ProPublica interview that alienating parents frequently brainwash and coercively manipulate their children to make false sexual abuse allegations against their alienated parent. Kids under these circumstances have no option but to lie.
Harm to children from a FALSE BELIEF that a parent had sexually abused them is EQUAL TO THE HARM to children as if the sexual abuse HAD ACTUALLY OCCURRED. This is exactly the basis for the necessity to uncover the truth about a sex abuse allegation.
Sex abuse allegations must be evaluated for merit according to the scientific method.
Conclusion
Tina Swithin has engaged in a pattern of behaviors to purposefully spread disinformation, arrogantly sabotage Court orders, and ruthlessly exploit children.
Swithin is currently facing a $1,500,000 defamation lawsuit by Christopher Ambrose for undermining Court orders in his case and for falsely accusing him of child abuse. Swithin is evading being served with Ambrose’s complaint.
By making this post about me, Swithin is attempting a desperate, transparent deflection from the Ambrose lawsuit against her, from her unlawful evasion of service, and from her despicable exploitation of children.
